Shipping Terms and Lead Time

Shipping Policy

If selecting UPS or USPS shipping, PROBOTIX reserves the right to use a comparable service from FedEx, UPS, or DHL. However, if you choose UPS, we will not ship via the postal service under any circumstances.

Lead Times for GX/EX Series Machines & Custom Orders

GX and EX Series Machines have seasonal lead times. The average production time ranges from 10 to 15 business days, depending on the time of year and your place in the queue.

When you order a GX Series machine, UNITY controller, or any other made-to-order product, it is placed into our assembly queue based on the date of receipt of a paid order. Lead times are estimates and subject to change, as each machine is meticulously handcrafted. For the most up-to-date lead times, contact support@probotix.com.

Manufacturing & Production

At PROBOTIX, we take pride in delivering superior craftsmanship with a focus on precision and clean aesthetics. As a just-in-time manufacturer, our production process may be affected by vendor delays, employee illnesses, seasonal demand, high order volume, severe weather, and other unforeseen circumstances. While these delays are rare, they can impact production times.

We never rush an order at the expense of quality. However, we are committed to ensuring every product is thoroughly tested and shipped as soon as possible.

Shipping Times

  • In-stock items that do not require assembly typically ship within 24-48 hours.
  • We do not offer guaranteed same-day shipping. If you need expedited shipping, please email or call us to confirm availability.
  • GX and EX Series machines must ship via freight (see Freight Shipping terms below).
  • Stepper motor driver controllers (UNITY Series) take an average of 7 days to build but may take longer depending on demand.

Quality Assurance & Testing

Every product undergoes rigorous testing before shipping. If your machine includes a DB25 cable or USB, we test it using that exact cable.

Handling Delays & Expectations

High order volume and seasonal demand may impact shipping times. As a just-in-time manufacturer, we strive to meet planned build times, but delays can occur due to supplier issues, weather, staffing, illness, or other supply chain disruptions.

Important Customer Advisory

If your business relies on a PROBOTIX machine, we strongly advise allowing ample time to receive, set up, and become familiar with the machine before making commitments to your own customers.

Unforeseen circumstances can sometimes cause delivery or operational delays. We cannot be held responsible for delays that affect your commitments. In business, it is always wise to plan for the unexpected.

Regular maintenance is essential, and occasional repairs are inevitable. We always strive to assist our customers as quickly as possible, but proactive maintenance and advance ordering of critical components help prevent unexpected downtime.

Shipping USA

Domestic small package shipping is handled by UPS, FedEx, or USPS. PROBOTIX reserves the right to ship via any carrier, but will prefer to ship via the selected method.

Shipping International

International orders are shipped by your choice of either UPS or USPS. PROBOTIX reserves the right to ship via any carrier but will make every effort to use the selected method.

UPS carries your package from end-to-end and delivery is usually 3-5 days, though additional customs fees may apply.

USPS handles the package only until it reaches the destination country, where it is processed by your local postal service. Lost or damaged packages cannot be reported for 45 days.

Freight Shipping

Large, fully assembled precision machines can only ship via freight. The shopping cart can calculate freight shipping for most domestic US orders, including crating and insurance.

If you arrange your own freight, you will be billed $250 for crating. A $100 administration fee may be required if you need assistance with documentation.

Warranty

PROBOTIX™ warrants that all our products will be free from defects under normal use for a period of 1 year. Within this period, we will repair or replace defective equipment, shipping charges prepaid by the buyer.

Returns

You can return merchandise in unused, resalable condition within 15 days of purchase. A 20% restocking fee applies. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

To return a product, contact the PROBOTIX™ Customer Service Department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
